<div class="md">I&#39;ve used flask-login for many years, bolting on my own roles/permissions system, email authentication, password management, etc. Am looking to finally make an upgrade to some standard tools, but am having trouble deciding between the all-in-one pallets project flask-security and an a la carte approach with flask-login, flask-authorize, and flask-dance (plus probably others). Have you used either stack? What did you like/dislike about it? Edit, I think I&#39;m going a la carte. Flask-authorize makes more sense to me (after banging my head against it for a few hours) than security&#39;s permission system (as far as I can tell it has no object based permissions which does not meet my requirements), and while I find the process of doing user registration/confirmation/password updates/2fa/etc extremely dull, I&#39;m writing this for my personal template project, so fingers crossed this will be the last time I ever have to do it, other than touching styling.  Edit, I think I'm going a la carte. I recently built a RSS reader and parser using python for Midnight a hackathon from Hack Club All the source code is here
 What My Project Does: Parses RSS XML feed and shows it in a Hacker News Themed website.
 Target Audience: People looking for an RSS reader, other than that it's a Project I made for Midnight.
 Comparison: It offers a fully customizable Reader which has Hacker News colors by default. The layout is also like HN
 This project is built using Flask 🤩

SmartRSS-RSS parser and Reader in Flask

<div class="md">I am getting an error in my flask app rather then posting my long convoluted error I figure I would try to see if there something wrong with my app by seeing an working example of a flask app with html as the front end with blueprints with multiple <a href="http://models.py">models.py</a> files in each blueprint folder using the current working version of flask. Does anyone have working example ? Could someone link there github or something else? My web app was working before the multiple <a href="http://models.py">models.py</a> files. I’ve only got a bit of python experience and I’ve never written anything in Django (also seem to be learning a bit of powershell on the fly too). How to get Feedback for a Project?

<div class="md">Hi everyone, I created my new opinionated Django base model template wanted to share with you. It works with Django 6.0 (releasing later this year) and Postgres 18. Here is explanation and below you can find the link to the source code: <ol> <li>Using UUIDv7 for id instead of incremental IDs. Now that Postgres 18 and Python 3.14 supports it, I think we are going to see more UUIDv7 adoption in the wild. Basically it provides the index performance of regular id&#39;s while hiding the sequence count. It also contains an internal timestamp which can be useful. For example, if you&#39;re generating random tokens that have some expiration date, you can naturally use uuidv7&#39;s to check expiration date without doing any database lookup! (of course you&quot;ll have your regular timestamps for the &#39;real&#39; expiration check). Looking for a fullstack Django engineer (EU)

<div class="md">Hi, Since the beginning I have solely worked on the DRF. Sometimes if I need frontend then AI does that for me, but now I want to dive into World of frontend as well. Which one is easiest to start? Whenever I try frontend I just find that there is a ton of code. Many of my python files don&#39;t generally cross 1000 lines. I am able to easily break them down into components and as per requirement put them into their respective files. But for frontend devs 500 / 1000 lines seems pretty common. I tried django templates but there is lot to write, vanilla html requires you to write a ton. I also tried react, but still there is a lot to write. But still i am not getting a shortlisted for a company. Most of the companies give assignments to shortlist the candidates but when i submit it , i didn&#39;t get any response from them. How can i land a job then?? It runs entirely in the browser using native ES modules and custom elements, so there’s no bundler or complex tooling involved. I'm looking to write an HTMX based application, I was curious if there's any way to get Vite to play nice with FastAPI. Ideally, I'd like to use vite to help with bundling javascript and css, then have FastAPI host them as static files and use Jinja templating to serve the HTMX HTML fragments.
 Anyone have an approach that would work, or is there a different way, maybe another bundler.

Static Web Bundlers and FastAPI
