Built a production LMS with SolidJS - Self-hosted alternative to Moodle/Canvas

I had a prototype canvas game working beautifully a few months back, took a pause, and now it runs terribly on all chrome browsers with huge ram and gpu usage (60% on Gtx 3070). It’s opinionated, code-gen only (no runtime magic), and meant to save setup time. You install it with pip and it simply adds a command to manage.py. It generates a usable REST API with OpenAPI docs, ready to be consumed by a frontend. After downloading it looks like steps 1-5 above worked as expected too, everything ran expected. So, why won't send_file(...) send the file?

Hey everyone,
 After building multiple FastAPI projects, I realized I was spending the same 1–3 weeks every time on the exact same stuff:
  
JWT auth & user management
 Stripe subscriptions + webhooks
 Email flows
 Background tasks (Celery)
 Database setup & migrations
 Deployment boilerplate
  
So I end up building a production ready FastAPI template that I now reuse for all my projects.
 It includes:
  
FastAPI + SQLAlchemy + Alembic
 JWT auth (email + social-ready)
 Stripe billling (subscriptions, webhooks)
 Background jobs with Celery
 Email infrastructure
 Docker + deployment setup
  
The goal isn’t to “teach FastAPI” - it’s for people who already know it and just want to ship faster.
 I’ve been using it in real projects and recently cleaned it up into something reusable.

Lecture 2 – Full Stack Web Development with Python

<div class="md">I&#39;m building a website which has a form where you login using email OTP. Basically the form initially has a user ID field and a submit button. When the submit button is clicked, the user ID is sent to the API of another website which sends an OTP to the user&#39;s email. At the same time, a new OTP field appears below the user ID field and the submit button changes to a login button. The user enters the correct OTP, and this is sent to the other website&#39;s API for validation, and he/she can log in. What is the simplest way of doing this? Like without using HTMX or Ajax, only HTML, JS, and Django. I mean, if HTMX and Ajax are necessary then I&#39;m willing to learn. For the HTML files that I want to be editable and updateable without restarting the django app, I just need to load those files inside the view and then pass them through the context like so: <pre><code>post_html_content = &quot;&quot; with post.content.open(&#39;r&#39;) as f: post_html_content = &#39;&#39;.join(f.readlines()) context[&#39;post_html_content&#39;] = post_html_content </code></pre> Then in my base blog post template, where I was previously using an <code>{% include post.content.path %}</code> I just use a <code>{{ post_html_content|safe|escape }}</code> . <div class="md">I kept rewriting the same DRF boilerplate for MVPs and internal tools, so I built a small generator that turns Django models into a working CRUD API. It’s opinionated, code-gen only (no runtime magic), and meant to save setup time. You install it with pip and it simply adds a command to manage.py. It generates a usable REST API with OpenAPI docs, ready to be consumed by a frontend.
